a first of its kind “offsite” – for couples

MOVE Your Marriage.

MOVE is a 1.5 day working “weTreat” for any couple ready to level up their partnership. Created specifically for couples who are planning to start a family, expecting a little one, or navigating the early stages of parenthood.

Is this for me?

We’ve distilled years of research & coaching practice into one fun, focused, and highly productive weekend for couples who are ready to invest in themselves as individuals and their family.

What is M.O.V.E?

A dedicated space to explore the Money, Operations, Values, and Empathy that go into a family.

Money

Work together to earn, manage and save money as a team.

Wondering how to save for college, pay off your mortgage, and plan for retirement? Money can be stressful for couples, but facing it together makes you stronger. We’ll help you set shared financial goals and build lasting security for your future.

Operations

Divide your household tasks equitably so you both have time for fun & rejuvenation.

It’s about creating a partnership where you share responsibilities, so you can both balance work, childcare, and personal time. How do you want to manage a shared family calendar? How will you cover  inevitable and unexpected life events: sick kids, aging parents, overflowing toilets.

Values

Live your values through everyday words and actions.

The life you’re building together should reflect your shared values. We’ll help you identify what truly matters to both of you and provide tools to make sure your daily actions align with those beliefs.

Empathy

Acknowledge your partner’s point of view; appreciate each other’s strengths.

Every relationship thrives on empathy and understanding – especially when you’re discussing “Tricky Topics” like In-Laws, holidays, parenting choices , sex and intimacy. Learn how to listen to your partner’s perspective (and share your own) without judgment, embrace each other’s strengths, and create a dynamic where both of you feel seen, heard, and supported.

We know your time is precious, so we’ll make every moment count — and you’ll leave with clear decisions, tasks checked off, and a confident path forward.

Data Shows

  • Women born between 1981 - 1985

lost an average of $295,000 from lost earnings due to a higher burden of caregiving duties and household responsibilities.

  • Money

has repeatedly been the top cited source in APA surveys of stress in a marriage.

  • 24% of couples

collectively contribute enough to maximize their employer matches but don't because they have never discussed coordinating their contribution percentages.

  • Time journals from the past 60 years

show that although a big shift happened in the household between 1965-1985, we have essentially plateaued since then. Different sex couples seem “stuck” at a ⅓ vs ⅔ divide when it comes to household chores. And these journals only document physical tasks - when you factor in new information around cognitive labor, the labor gap is even wider.

  • Our expectations for parenting have shifted dramatically;

a stay-at-home mom in 1975 did fewer hours of childcare per week than a working mom does in 2025.

  • Single women do fewer hours of housework

per week than women married to men. This just shows how much “performing gender” married women do!

What’s Included?

  • Our one price is for TWO participants! Come with your partner.

  • Ashley, Brian and Kate will all attend the entire retreat event. While some conferences have key notes come in for an hour and then leave out the back - your experts will be with you for the full we-Treat.

  • This workshop is carefully planned and facilitated. The agenda distills years of research and coaching into efficient (and fun!) knowledge sessions.

  • Food is important! Our we-Treat provides delicious food + snacks to make sure you have fuel in your tank for the entire workshop.

  • Everyone loves a freebee! You’ll walk away with a great swag bag full of gifts and coupons.

  • We’ll balance moments of “deep work” with micro-indulgences and playful breaks. Think: chair massage and mini-acupuncture sessions, adult coloring books, Jenga competitions, and more!
